SweetPeas started back in May 2017 when Claire took on the shop in Worcester and used her skills and knowledge as a Vet Nurse to develop the business.
We provide high-quality service and products to our wonderful customers, and now have two stores in the UK - situated in both Worcester and Cheltenham.
Lucy is a registered veterinary nurse and has known Claire for 12 years. They worked together at Folly Garden Vets where Lucy’s nursing career first started.
Since then, Lucy qualified as a Vet Nurse in 2015, and has worked in first opinion and referral veterinary practices.
She also travelled abroad to Thailand, Malawi and Borneo as a Vet Nurse helping a variety of charities.
Lucy has a young Springer Spaniel called Riggs and competes at Canine Hoopers UK competitions and does mantrailing with him. Lucy is a Bronze and Silver UK Sniffer Dog Instructor. She runs her workshops in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and in her spare time does shifts as a locum Vet Nurse still in practices throughout Gloucestershire.
Claire is a Veterinary nurse who qualified many years and worked at different veterinary practices in Tewkesbury.
She has a dog called Reggie, who turned 10 this year and is a basset hound cross Staffordshire bull terrier.
You may get to meet him when you visit the shop.
In May 2017, Claire stepped out of her Veterinary Nurse role and took over the shop which was then known as The Pet Corner. She used her skills and knowledge as a Vet Nurse to develop the business to provide high-quality service and products to the public.
The shop was rebranded SweetPeas of Worcester in February 2022.
